It was a stay that satisfied the whole family. The air is clear, and it’s cool even in the summer, so I think I’ll think of Niseko every summer. I’ll give you some tips for those who are staying longer. You can buy fresh cheese and melons at Niseko View Plaza, which we went to on the last day, but it was a shame that we went on the last day of our trip. I recommend going early. It was nice to be able to buy food at two places in downtown Kutchan: Lucky Mart and Max Value. There were good Japanese grocery store side dishes, so I cooked and ate, and it was nice. We could see the area near the summit of Mt. Yotei from the first-floor window, but we only realised it on the third day. On the weekend of the first week of August, there was a potato festival along the main road in front of Kutchan Station, and we were lucky. There’s also a fireworks festival around 7–8 p.m., so be sure to go.

What an amazing chalet for our mixed family group from the UK. There was plenty of space to accommodate us all comfortably. Guest services have been brilliant, shuttling us back and forth to the ski slopes. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. We have all enjoyed the skiing, with lots of snow and an abundance of slopes for all ski levels. If we ever return to Niseko, we will definitely return to Gouka Chalet and will highly recommend it to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time in Gouka Chalet and the surrounding Niseko area. There was so much snow; it was glorious. Guest services were very accommodating, making our holiday run smoothly. Thank you for everything. The chalet was perfect for our family of seven from Australia.

We enjoyed this beautiful chalet. The **fireplace** was amazing, as well as the **water kettle**. After staying here, I decided to buy a **water kettle** exactly like this one!

The Elite Havens group that runs this property does a spectacular job. They will give you rides anywhere in Hirafu during business hours, and make sure you get in and out of town with ease. Daniel was especially great! The staff in general were very accommodating and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great space for a group - warm and spacious. Elite Havens concierge and shuttle service at Niseko was a wonderful bonus when booking this house. Not too far from the restaurants. Also some great spots a couple blocks away.

Location is amazing and the Elite Havens transport arrangements around Hirafu a very nice touch. Everyone is super helpful and made our family’s stay a very pleasant one.

Gouka cottage is a fantastic place for a large group of people! Elite Havens transportation service was absolutely amazing giving you pick up and drop off options to the local hills. They also helped with rentals and provided plenty of information on the area. Plenty of breakfast things were provided to get us going and ready for the slopes.
